  6. This directory contains code for IDL routines written in the
  7. IDL language. We recommend that you do not store your own
  8. library files in this directory, as it may be overwritten
  9. by the IDL installation program if you choose to remove or
  10. install components of the IDL distribution. Instead, store
  11. your own routines in a separate directory and include that
  12. directory in the IDL path.
